Early Birthday Suprise

I had a great day on Friday. Amber and Gladys asked to take me to lunch for my birthday since I would be busy most of the weekend (and because Amber had to work doubles all weekend). Of course I did not turn this offer down.

I woke early and attended a dumb meetings at work. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of meeting we have to overly explain the very obvious and common sense parts of our job. UGH!! But anyway I was in a really good mood. I had a cute shirt on and brand new earrings (which I had bought on clearance for $2.00). So, I survived the meeting in a good mood.

I then went and got Amber and Gladys. Amber had told me that she had a meeting to attend in Artesia for work this morning too. So, off to Artesia the 3 of us went. When we got there she said she needed to run to FENN'S first. We usually pay our electric bill there (and she had just got paid) so I of course didn't think anything about it. Well, we walk straight over to the bakery and I just knew what was ahead! She had ordered me a CUTE PURPLE AND GREEN BUTTERFLY CAKE! (So, for those of you who don't know - the butterfly is kinda like my symbol and of course purple and green and my favorite colors!)

We then went to lunch at Henry's BarBQ. The food was good and it was something differnt that we don't eat alot. After lunch we stopped at McDonald's and got 3 cups of icecream and then we went to the park. We sat at a picnic table and had cake and icecream! It was so much fun!

After taking Amber to work I headed back to Roswell to pick up Brennen and then to see a very special lady who came a long way to visit. Guess who!?!?!?
